Jerry graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Allied Health Professions. Following his undergraduate education, he attended Full Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA), California, a two-year post graduate bible school program where he was helped to grow spiritually, to be constituted with the truths in the bible, and to develop a proper character. Right after FTTA, Jerry went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from University of St. Augustine For Health Sciences, San Marcos, California.
Prior to Serenity Medical Centers, Jerry worked in different outpatient settings, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and cardiopulmonary rehab. In addition, he had the opportunity to work in acute care settings where he gained experience with a broad spectrum of conditions. Jerry strives to have an impact on patients’ health by providing patient-centered care, and by tailoring every treatment to the patient’s needs.
Jerry continues to pursue higher education and is currently scheduled to become Certified in Dry Needling (CDN) by November 2022. During his downtime away from work, he enjoys playing guitar, swimming, running, gathering with friends and family, and spending time with his wife while exploring San Antonio’s gastronomy and coffee shops.
